I think the series win at YS is a confidence booster that will lead the Nats to their 3rd straight victory.

patchss, I'm hope you're right!!!

If we can beat the Yanks WITH AK in the lineup, we should be able to beat the BJ's(haha)with Dukes.

I'll third that emotion, patchss and FloresFan.

Don't let up on that accelerator, boys, and go get 'em!

Wow I could have sworn the decent contact Kearns made on the last pitch he saw would lead Acta to plugging him in the 5 hole for the next week.

Well, while we had some great defense, and Kearns sure is good in the field, he's simply not hitting enough. Harris isn't hitting much either, but at least with Dukes & Dunn on the corners, you have pretty good offensive production; you can tolerate a weak-hitting all-glove guy at a premium defensive position. And an OPS of .680 for a CF is merely "pretty bad" compared to "dreadful", which is Corey Patterson's .154 or Kearns'660 in RF.

Just sayin'.

Yes... maybe that impressive out Kearns made will even get him some All Star votes!

Be nice to have a good crowd on hand to welcome the slumdog millionaire slayers home tonight. GO NATS...STAY HOT

Let's hope the IF keeps up their sterling play from Yankee Stadium over the homestand. The OF of Dunn- Harris- Dukes is a nice balance of hitting vs. defense, & at home that's probably o.k. JZimm just needs to avoid the big inning and he'll be fine.

Top of 1st - JZimm's got the 4-seam working, but he's a little high in the zone (overthrowing?); needs to work in the slider & 2-seam a little more, imo.

What's with those two fat dumbasses in the front row of seats behind the plate pretending to be umpires?
