Today's lineup
Elijah Dukes is indeed back in the Nationals lineup today after missing yesterday with a sore toe on his left foot. Stephen Strasburg is going to pitch for a second time, and again he'll be throwing to Wil Nieves. Perhaps they are not televising it because the lousiness of Alberto Gonzalez is enough to counteract the excitement over the talent of Stephen Strasburg. I truly do not see what advantage there is to keeping Gonzalez on the team.

Cassander, I commented about that in the MASN chat the other day, as I thought I recalled seeing in some past ST games. Evidently the function is handled by freelancers during ST and is sporadic.

"That" being the Game Day function on the team site. (And that's my own interpretation of Goessling's response. You could read yesterday's chat archive if you wanted to see the comments in context.)

Also, I wanted to see Pudge throw out F-Lo again. :-(

Well, technically, not "see" it as I merely read about it. But you get my drift.

The Nationals are rolling out most of the OD lineup today, so that's good. Strasburg should go three; Livo should go two, possibly three. From the bullpen, Villone, Bruney, then Slaten & Clippard; If they get down to needing English, no curly W today either.

Why is there no Gameday and Pitch fx in Spring training?
Why is this game not televised?
Hmmph.
