Today's lineup
It's warming up, mercifully, in Port St. Lucie for the Nationals game today against the Mets. Jason Marquis gets his first spring crack as the Nationals trying to lower their team ERA from roughly 1,883.42.
Nationals
1. Justin Maxwell, CF
2. Ian Desmond, SS
3. Elijah Dukes, RF
4. Mike Morse, 1B
5. Ivan Rodriguez, C
6. Kevin Mench, DH
7. Ian Adam Kennedy, 2B
8. Alberto Gonzalez, 3B
9. Willy Taveras, LF
Also, Chris Duncan will get some time in leftfield. He's played only first so far, Jim Riggleman wants to watch him play left. With so many guys -- Mike Morse, Willie Harris, Ian Desmond, Duncan -- playing both infield and outfield, it can be a challenge to juggle their time during spring.
Scheduled pitchers:
Jason Marquis
Matt Chico
Matt Capps
Drew Storen
Ron Villone
Luis Atilano

The pitching today will be more interesting, those first four guys that are scheduled to throw today are pretty important to this team... if the Nats give up 13 runs today, hopefully the majority of them are scored off of Villone and Atilano...

Peralta & Bergmann also made the trip (via Nats Insider). I'm interested regarding Duncan in the OF later, but admit to being concerned about Gonzalez at 3B.
