Today's lineups

If tonight really is going to be Stephen Strasburg's final start with the Nationals' big league camp in spring training, then he'll be getting a nice head start on his short-lived life as a minor leaguer. Check out the split-squad lineup the Cardinals are bringing from Jupiter, Fla.

Cardinals
1. Tyler Greene, SS
2. John Jay, CF
3. Allen Craig, 1B
4. Nick Stavinoha, RF
5. David Freese, 3B
6. Tyler Henley, LF
7. Jason LaRue, C
8. Ruben Gotay, 2B
9. Kyle McClellan, SP

For the Nationals, Nyjer Morgan is not back in the lineup; he has not played since Sunday with a tweaked hamstring. Adam Dunn is back in there after leaving Tuesday's game and being scratched from Wednesday's start with lower back spasms. Also, we'll get our first look at Stephen Strasburg, hitter.

Nationals
1. Willie Harris, RF
2. Adam Kennedy, 2B
3. Ryan Zimmerman, 3B
4. Adam Dunn, 1B
5. Ivan Rodriguez, C
6. Ian Desmond, SS
7. Justin Maxwell, CF
8. Willy Taveras, LF
9. Stephen Strasburg, SP

A couple of nuggets from Ladson via Twitter:

@washingnats - The #Nats will have a meeting Saturday to determine if Stephen Strasburg is going to the Minors.

#Nats RHP Jordan Zimmermann will have his first bullpen session of the spring Monday. He will throw 10 to 15 pitches.

No, we won't see it because MASN is re-running an old Oriels game. And with regard for the earlier post, those are really, really, really depressing numbers. I hope this is just a blip and we really don,t suck this bad. I hope so, but I fear otherwise.

"then he'll be getting a nice head start on his short-lived life as a major leaguer"

Adam, I'm pretty sure you meant to say his short-lived life as a MINOR leaguer. That is a decidedly minor league Cardinals squad.
