Willie Harris sitting out
Willie Harris was in the original Nationals lineup, but his sore right knee forced him to the bench. Before the game, Pat Listach asked Harris if he would take batting practice. Harris simply shook his head no, and then he watched from behind the batting cage.
Harris had been icing his right knee regularly after games for a couple weeks. Yesterday, he aggravated his knee making a tremendous diving catch in extra innings. Justin Maxwell will replace Harris in the starting lineup, and the Nationals new lineup looks like this:
1. Nyjer Morgan, CF
2. Adam Kennedy, 3B
3. Cristian Guzman, 2B
4. Adam Dunn, 1B
5. Josh Willingham, LF
6. Ivan Rodriguez, C
7. Ian Desmond, SS
8. Justin Maxwell, RF
9. Scott Olsen, SP
Dodgers
1. Rafael Furcal, SS
2. Russell Martin, C
3. Matt Kemp, CF
4. James Loney, 1B
5. Casey Blake, 3B
6. Ronnie Belliard, 2B
7. Garrett Anderson, LF
8. Reed Johnson, RF
9. Chad Billingsley, SP
