A rain update and the Giants lineup
The Nationals and Giants will happily start on time today. The rain has disappeared, the tarp is off the field and there are even a few rays of sunshine trying to peak through the gray clouds. Given earlier conditions, that's a very nice surprise.
Here's how the Giants will face Craig Stammen:
1. Andres Torres, RF
2. Freddy Sanchez, 2B
3. Pablo Sandoval, 3B
4. Aubrey Huff, 1B
5. Juan Uribe, SS
6. Aaron Rowand, CF
7. John Bowker, LF
8. Eli Whiteside, C
9. Barry Zito, SP

... given the Nats' recent history of getting beat by the bad ones, and beating the good ones . . . the Nats ought to be optimistic against Zito, eh? ;-)

These games really make me miss PacBell and the Bay Area. That being said, let's go Nats! Another series win awaits!
