No throwing yet for Jason Marquis
When Jason Marquis went on the disabled list April 21, the Nationals hoped he would begin throwing again within a week to 10 days in the wake of bone chips being found in his right elbow. Marquis, though, has yet to resume throwing. That doesn't necessarily mean Marquis is well behind schedule -- he said he may just wait until the Nationals return from their current road trip before he plays catch.
Marquis chose to receive a cortisone shot in his elbow rather than opting for arthroscopic surgery. "I think we're just waiting out to see how he'll respond to the treatment," Riggleman said.

Take your time, Jason. Take all the time you want. June, July, August, hell, even September. Oh, we're on the hook next year too?
