Scott Olsen's schedule
The Nationals are starting to form a more concrete schedule for Scott Olsen's return. He threw a 33-pitch bullpen session yesterday, his first throws from the mound since he went on the disabled list May 22. Olsen will throw once more in the bullpen and then "likely" make a minor league rehab assignment in about a week, Manager Jim Riggleman said.
So if all goes well, Olsen could pitch in the minors June 10 or so and then be able to make a start June 15 at Detroit. The Nationals will have to see how it goes, but that seems like the most likely plan for Olsen.
