Tyler Walker will return after all-star break
Reliever Tyler Walker could be activated from the 15-day disabled list today, but, of course, he won't. Walker had hoped to be ready to return to the Washington Nationals by now, but he still has yet to throw off of a mound during his rehab. Though he is making progress, Walker will pitch in a rehab assignment before making his return after the all-star break.
Walker went on the disabled list at the start of last week, and he has not pitched since June 19 because of soreness in his right shoulder. He threw Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and today, extending back to 120 feet.
"I'm feeling like it's progressing," Walker said. "It's feeling better."
