Nationals release 2011 spring training schedule

The Nationals announced their spring training schedule for next season this afternoon. The Nats will play 30 games, beginning Monday, February 28 in Port St. Lucie against the New York Mets. Their first home game, at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Fla., will come the following day. The most high profile game comes Saturday, March 12, when the New York Yankees will play in Viera for the first time since 2000.

According to the Nationals' website, season tickets for spring training go on sale November 22, individual game tickets in January.
