Eagles, First-Rounder Bunkley Agree

The Philadelphia Eagles reached a contract agreement today with defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley, their first-round draft choice.

The Eagles selected Bunkley with the 14th overall pick in April. He agreed to a six-year contract with the Eagles after he and his agent, Gary Wichard, had been attempting to limit the length of the deal to five seasons.

Once he signs his contract, there will be three first-round picks league-wide still unsigned--Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner (chosen eighth overall), Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart (10th) and Miami Dolphins safety Jason Allen (16th).

Hopefully he will be behind because of his holdout and will not be much of a factor. Or even better, a bust...that would be great for skins fans
