K. Robinson Reportedly Arrested

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Koren Robinson was arrested Tuesday night for driving while impaired, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported today.

Robinson was arrested while returning to the Vikings' training camp in Mankato, Minn., on the day after a preseason game against the Oakland Raiders, the newspaper reported.

Robinson reached the Pro Bowl as a kick returner last season and re-signed with the Vikings as a free agent during the offseason. The former first-round draft pick was released by his original NFL team, the Seattle Seahawks, last year after serving a four-game suspension during the 2004 season for a violation of the league's substance abuse policy and being charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence in May 2005. He reportedly participated in an alcohol rehabilitation program before signing with the Vikings.

Is this the same guy that Theismann was extolling on Monday night, saying he'd turned his life around, completely matured and that all problems were behind him?
Network announcers babble in boilerplate.

Reports indicate dude was going over 100mph! My man Koren, you earn SERIOUS DOLLARS. Next time, at least break off a few twenties and hire car service when you feel the need to put your life, the lives of others, and your dream job in joepardy.
