Leinart Scheduled to Play At Least A Quarter This Weekend

Rookie quarterback Matt Leinart only agreed to a contract with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday and joined the team Tuesday, but Coach Dennis Green announced today that Leinart is scheduled to play at least a quarter in Saturday's exhibition game against the New England Patriots.

Starter Kurt Warner is slated to play a quarter. Leinart is to take over for Warner, and John Navarre and perhaps Rohan Davey are to finish the game.
