Owners Done with Commish Candidates... For Now
NORTHBROOK, Ill.--The five finalists for the NFL commissioner's job completed their presentations to the 32 team owners here today.
The owners reconvened to go over some procedural issues with retiring commissioner Paul Tagliabue, then planned to break for the evening.
The candidates are to meet with smaller groups of owners on a rotating basis Tuesday morning, and it's possible that the owners will take a vote later Tuesday.
