K. Robinson Charged With One Felony, Several Misdemeanors

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Koren Robinson was charged today in Nicollet County (Minn.) District Court with fleeing from police, a felony, along with two driving while intoxicated charges and three other misdemeanors.

A criminal complaint said that Robinson's blood alcohol level was measured at 0.11 percent in a field test Tuesday night, when he was arrested after his BMW was clocked going more than 100 mph in a 55-mph zone. In Minnesota, a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater is considered legally drunk when operating a motor vehicle.

Robinson allegedly refused to stop for police before being arrested about 10 miles away in Mankato, Minn., where the Vikings have their training camp. He also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving and driving after suspension. Bail was set at $50,000 during a 15-minute hearing this afternoon and his next court appearance was scheduled for Oct. 19.

How ironic, since the announcers during the game were talking about how he had turned his life around. Kind of like the Sports Illustrated cover story jinx

I just wonder what the chances are of Koren Robinson keeing his job after this? Given the Vikings were trying to shed their negative image, I can't see them keeping him. Maybe a pick up for 'Boys given their suddenly razor thin WR depth??
