Seau Retirement Announcement Set

Linebacker Junior Seau is to announce his retirement Monday at the San Diego Chargers' training facility.

Seau, 37, spent three seasons with the Miami Dolphins after 13 seasons with the Chargers.

He finished each of the past two seasons on the injured reserve list but might have played again this season if a team had been seriously interested in signing him.
