Steelers Sign W. Parker to Extension

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Willie Parker, the former undrafted free agent who became their starting tailback last year in their Super Bowl-winning season, to a four-year contract extension Wednesday.

The deal is worth about $13.5 million, including a signing bonus of $3.75 million, and keeps Parker from being a restricted free agent after the upcoming season.

Parker earned just more than $300,000 last season.
