B. Johnson On Target as Vikings Ready for Redskins

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brad Johnson was sharp Thursday in his final tune-up for the Sept. 11 regular season opener against the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field. He completed 11 of 13 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in the Vikings' exhibition-season finale.

The Vikings added a potential backup quarterback Thursday when they obtained Brooks Bollinger in a trade that sent defensive tackle C.J. Mosley and an undisclosed draft choice to the New York Jets. The Vikings also are considering signing wide receiver Todd Pinkston, who just was released by the Philadelphia Eagles. Brad Childress was the Eagles' offensive coordinator before being hired as the Vikings' head coach in January.
