Cowboys Sign LB James to Contract Extension
The Dallas Cowboys signed inside linebacker Bradie James today to a five-year, $20 million contract extension that includes an $8 million signing bonus.
The deal was negotiated by Cowboys executive Stephen Jones and James's agent, Jimmy Sexton, and keeps James, the team's leading tackler last season, from being an unrestricted free agent next spring.
The Cowboys have been busy in recent months signing their prospective free agents, having previously agreed to extensions with tight end Jason Witten and safety Roy Williams.
