Next Question: Will Owens Practice Today?
IRVING, Tex.--The next issue in the Terrell Owens saga will be whether the wide receiver is able to participate in the Dallas Cowboys' practice today.
Owens said Wednesday he thinks he can practice today and play Sunday at Tennessee. That vow came as he denied an account in a Dallas police report saying that Owens tried to commit suicide Tuesday by overdosing on prescription pain medication. Owens said here merely suffered an allergic reaction to a combination of painkilling pills and nutritional supplements.
He suffered a broken finger on his right hand during a triumph over the Washington Redskins 11 days ago.
