Polamalu Hurting, and It Shows
Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu is playing with an ailing shoulder.
The injury affected Polamalu during Monday night's loss at Jacksonville. He didn't play with his usual abandon, and the Steelers changed their defensive play-calling a bit to try to protect Polamalu.
It's a situation that's worth monitoring. The Steelers might have to sit down Polamalu at some point during the season for the shoulder to heal fully. But it doesn't seem likely that will happen this weekend, with the Cincinnati Bengals visiting Heinz Field.
