Bears-Giants Game on Nov. 12 Moved to Nighttime Slot Under Flexible-Scheduling Plan
The Nov. 12 game between the Chicago Bears and New York Giants at Giants Stadium has been moved to 8:15 p.m.
It had been scheduled to be played that afternoon. It is the first game to be rescheduled under the league's new flexible-scheduling plan, designed to ensure that NBC gets attractive late-season games to televise in the Sunday night time slot.
The game previously was to be carried by Fox. Under the plan, games must be moved at least 12 days in advance.
The game is particularly attractive because the Bears could be unbeaten heading into it.
The league also announced that the New Orleans at Pittsburgh game on the same day has been moved from 1 to 4:15 p.m. on Fox.
