Injury Concerns Grow for Eagles
PHILADELPHIA--Both of the Philadelphia Eagles' starting wide receivers emerged from Monday night's triumph over the Green Bay Packers with injuries.
Donte Stallworth aggravated a hamstring injury, and Reggie Brown hurt his shoulder. It was not immediately clear what either player's status would be for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Eagles already were hurting. They played without tailback Brian Westbrook Monday. He had been playing with a sore and swollen knee in recent weeks but was on the inactive list Monday. Coach Andy Reid said after the game he was hopeful that Westbrook would play against the Cowboys.
Cornerbacks Lito Sheppard and Rod Hood also were on the inactive list for the Packers game. Sheppard has been sidelined by a sprained ankle, and Hood has a heel injury.
