Local TV Ratings Soaring for Redskins, Ravens
The Washington Redskins' struggles this season aren't hurting the local television ratings for their games.
Redskins games this season have an average rating of 26.5 in the Washington market, according to the NFL. That's up 14 percent from a similar point last season, tied for the sixth-largest increase league-wide.
The Baltimore Ravens are tied for the third-largest increase in the league. Their games have an average rating of 25.1 in their local market, up 29 percent from a similar point last season.
The biggest increase belongs to the Seattle Seahawks, whose local TV ratings are up 45 percent. The Arizona Cardinals are next, with local ratings that are up 37 percent.
