Alexander More Likely Than Hasselbeck to Return to Seahawks' Lineup

Tailback Shaun Alexander and quarterback Matt Hasselbeck participated in the Seattle Seahawks' practice Wednesday.

Alexander was more active in the practice than Hasselbeck was and seems more certain to return to the Seahawks' lineup this weekend. The reigning league most valuable player has missed the club's last six games because of a cracked bone in his foot.

Hasselbeck, who's missed three games because of a sprained knee ligament, did not participate fully in the practice and it's possible that he won't retake the starting job from Seneca Wallace for another week.
