Injuries Piling Up in Already Struggling Secondary for Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons will be without cornerback Jason Webster for four to six weeks because of a groin injury.

Webster suffered the injury during a practice this week.

The Falcons just lost cornerback Kevin Mathis to a season-ending neck injury. Webster's injury moves rookie Jimmy Williams into the starting lineup alongside fellow Virginia Tech alum DeAngelo Hall, and Mathis's absence makes Allen Rossum the nickel back. The Atlanta defense is ranked 31st in the league against the pass.
