R. Harrison Reportedly Has Broken Shoulder Blade
New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison suffered a broken shoulder blade during Sunday night's loss to the Indianapolis Colts, according to reports in several Boston-area media outlets.
It's not clear how long Harrison will be sidelined. He suffered the injury on the Colts' first drive on a 44-yard completion from quarterback Peyton Manning to wide receiver Marvin Harrison.
The Patriots' other starting safety, Eugene Wilson, has been sidelined by an ailing hamstring. Artrell Hawkins has been starting alongside Rodney Harrison. When Harrison got hurt Sunday, the Patriots moved Chad Scott from cornerback to safety and played Ellis Hobbs at cornerback.
