S. Alexander's Foot to be Re-Evaluated Today

Tailback Shaun Alexander is scheduled to undergo further tests on his injured foot today to determine whether he'll be cleared by doctors to return to the Seattle Seahawks' lineup this week.

The Seahawks had expected for Alexander to receive medical clearance last week to play, but tests then showed the fracture in his foot had not healed completely.

The reigning league most valuable player has missed the Seahawks' last five games. They've gone 2-3 in that span but beat the Oakland Raiders on Monday night without both Alexander and injured quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to improve their record to 5-3.
