Still No Definitive Word on P. Holmes's Status
The Kansas City Chiefs still have not clarified the status of tailback Priest Holmes in the aftermath of a recent neurological examination.
Holmes has been on the physically unable to perform list all season because of neck and head injuries suffered last season. It seems virtually certain that he won't play this season but the Chiefs have until later this month to place him on the injured reserve list, ending his season, or activate him.
It's unclear whether Holmes will be able to resume his NFL career.
