Toomer's Knee Surgery Scheduled for Friday

New York Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer is scheduled to undergo season-ending knee surgery Friday.

He is to have a partially torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee repaired. Toomer opted for surgery instead of attempting to rehabilitate the injury and perhaps play again this season because his knee would have been unstable and he'd have been at increased risk for a more severe injury.

Mark - How is this news? This isn't news. When Lavar had one or two of his surgeries on his knees, we didn't even know about it for a few weeks. I don't think any one would care that he is to have his surgery today.........

Its news to me. Sunday he played. A week later he's under the knife?

MArk,

Thanks for reporting news OTHER than just what the Deadskins are doing.

We're all tired of hearing about the 'Skins. They stink. Get over it. At least this is pseudonews.

You guys don't get it. I was just using LaVar as an example. That was my only point. But since you forced me to take it there........

You talking about 'Go Colts', and they haven't done *#it since they have been in Indy. The only thing that matters are SuperBowls. Indy - 0, Washington - 3. If you are tired of the 'skins, don't hang out at the Washington Post. Dosen't Indy have newspapers sites you can hang out at??

Hail to the Redskins!

Hail to the Redskins!

Hail to the Redskins!

Feel better now?
