Week 13 Picks

Local Teams

Falcons at Redskins
The Falcons are an absolute mess at the moment.
Pick: Redskins

Ravens at Bengals (Thursday night)
The Bengals are coming around and they need this one, but the Ravens are looking like a true powerhouse.
Pick: Ravens

Lock of the Week

Lions at Patriots
It remains debatable whether the Patriots stack up with the top teams, but that's clearly not an issue in this one.
Pick: Patriots

Upset of the Week

Jets at Packers
If the Packers can't win in the snow in Seattle, what makes you think they can win in Lambeau?
Pick: Jets

Games of the Week

Cowboys at Giants
The Giants look like a team in disarray. But their season is on the line, and Tony Romo is due for a bad game. Everybody has one.
Pick: Giants

Jaguars at Dolphins
The Jaguars can't win on the road and the Dolphins are hot.
Pick: Dolphins

Seahawks at Broncos (Sunday night)
Jay Cutler will succeed in the long run, but that doesn't mean he's ready to beat a good team in his first start.
Pick: Seahawks

Other Games

Cardinals at Rams
The Rams finally got headed back in the right direction last weekend.
Pick: Rams

Colts at Titans
The Titans have a chance. They should have won in Indianapolis earlier this season, and Vince Young showed last weekend he has some magic in him. But, in the end, the Colts are simply better.
Pick: Colts

Chiefs at Browns
The Chiefs can't afford to slip in the unforgiving AFC playoff chase.
Pick: Chiefs

Vikings at Bears
The Bears need to redeem themselves after last weekend's performance in New England.
Pick: Bears

Chargers at Bills
The Bills are dangerous but the Chargers are very, very good and now they have Shawne Merriman back.
Pick: Chargers

49ers at Saints
It will be tough for the Niners to bounce back from last weekend's disappointment against the Rams.
Pick: Saints

Texans at Raiders
The Texans are closer to being not completely terrible.
Pick: Texans

Buccaneers at Steelers
It's play-for-pride time for the Steelers, and they do have some.
Pick: Steelers

Panthers at Eagles (Monday night)
The Panthers are unpredictable, but the Eagles are just too lacking without Donovan McNabb.
Pick: Panthers

Record
Last Week: 9-7
Season: 102-74

It looks like the Jets are favored in their game--that isn't really a big "upset"

The only underdogs you're picking are the Seahawks over the Broncos and the Texas over the Raiders, and both are 3 point underdogs according to what is in the Post this morning. So one of these 2 picks HAS to be your upset pick of the week. You can't make a favorite an upset pick!

Sorry, I missed your pick of the Giants over the Cowboys. As much as everyone is down on the Giants (and they are 3 1/2 point underdogs), this HAS to be your Upset Pick of the Week!

I'll join the bandwagon on this one: The Jets over the Packers an upset? Jets have a better record and play in a tougher conference/division. Come on, pick a real upset.
I'm afraid what you say about the Giants-Cowboys may be true for the Falcons-Redskins. The Falcons are in disarray but their season is on the line. The Skins have not been good at putting their heel to the throat of teams that could be buried.
