A Quick NFC Thought

Just how ironclad is that rule about the NFC having to be represented in the Super Bowl?

Just when it looks like an NFC team is for real, it plays like the New Orleans Saints did today.

The NFC reminds me of the Bowie Baysox. They can do rather well in their league but have no business playing in the World Series.

The NFC needs to improve a little to be called big league sports and has no place in the Super Bowl.

I agree. I want a Ravens-Chargers superbowl. Let's get a petition started.

You know I hate to say I told you so Mark but I told you so! We exposed the Saints 2 months ago but apparantly you weren't paying attention! And how about P Rivers? 95 yds and 2 int's! What's he going to do when we hold LT down like we always do? See you in Miami Marky Mark!

And the Redskins having a good game had nothing to do with it, right?

The NFC reminds me a lot of the National League. I guess they have no chance in the Super Bowl.

As an AFC lifer, I remember about a decade-plus when this sort of stuff was said about the conference represented by the Broncos and Bills, the Pats when they were the Patsies, and a few who were only disgraced once in that streak. But people still feel this way about MLB even after the Cards won. It's about matchups, and the NFC winner gets the right to play the game, much like Walter Mondale and Bob Dole got the right to go against popular incumbents. Just pelase - NO BEARS-RAVENS!

Hey there Billick. Apparently, you do not know how to spell "apparently". You did not hold LT down either. 27 rushes for 98 yards. Michael Turner chipped in 46 yards too. The Chargers will run on anyone, including the Ravens.

JMac: How many TD's did your RB's have? Zero! Only one RB has a rushing TD all year against us: Rudi Johnson. Look it up Pal!

Travis Henry ran one in too. Ravens fans are mostly idiots. They were overly excited when the Bengals lost and they clinched the division. Winning the division was going to happen anyway. Smart fans would realize that a Colts loss would have been much better, as far as home field in the playoffs goes.
