Vick Does Little During Falcons' Practice

Quarterback Michael Vick did little during the Atlanta Falcons' practice Wednesday, resting the strained groin muscle that he suffered during Saturday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Matt Schaub took most of the snaps with the starting offense and would start Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers if Vick is unable to play. The Falcons remain hopeful that Vick will play.

Defensive end John Abraham sat out Wednesday's practice but the Falcons remain hopeful that he'll play Sunday with a cast to protect his injured thumb. He underwent surgery Monday to have a pin inserted in the thumb.
