A. Blank and Other Falcons Officials Meet With Vick to Express Displeasure About Airport Incident

Atlanta Falcons officials, including owner Arthur Blank, met today with quarterback Michael Vick.

The team's leaders expressed their displeasure with Vick after he reluctantly surrendered a water bottle Wednesday at a security checkpoint at the Miami airport that later was found to contain a secret compartment and a residue smelling like marijuana, according to a police report.

Vick has not yet been charged with a crime but the water bottle has been sent to a lab for testing.

Falcons President Rich McKay and newly hired coach Bobby Petrino also participated in today's meeting.

I thought yesterday's train wreck of a thread was funnier than anything. Did anyone catch Boomer on Elliot this morning? "SO are the Vick brothers just stupid?" Boomer couldn't dance his way out of that one. The problem with Vick's off field antics is that they are death by a thousand cuts. Yesterday's GM press conference was just like the one they had a month or two ago after the "dirty bird" incident. This thug has amazing pure athleticism, but in every other way is a cancer to that team. I'm guessing the sponsorships will be drying up very soon.

Hey Bobby, are you sure you want that coaching job? Not even a week on the job IN THE OFFSEASON and Vick requires a "come to Jesus" meeting.

Maske, do you get a bonus for correctness of your picks? If so, how much do you owe?

A year from now, Vick will end up playing for the Raiders.
