Cardinals to Interview Rivera Today

The Arizona Cardinals are to begin their head coaching search by interviewing Bears defensive coordinator Ron Rivera today in Chicago.

The Cardinals, who fired Dennis Green as their coach on Monday, also have scheduled interviews with Houston Texans assistant head coach Mike Sherman on Thursday and Indianapolis Colts assistant head coach Jim Caldwell on Sunday.

They've added San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron to an original list of six candidates that also included Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow and two Pittsburgh Steelers assistants, offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt and offensive line coach Russ Grimm.

Whisenhunt and Cameron are thought to be candidates for the Atlanta Falcons, who fired Jim Mora on Monday. Whisenhunt and Grimm would be top candidates to succeed Steelers Coach Bill Cowher if he resigns.
