Lerner Pondering Crennel's Fate

Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner apparently plans to participate in a series of organizational meetings before deciding whether to retain Romeo Crennel as the team's coach.

The Browns have gone 10-22 in two seasons under Crennel, the former Super Bowl-winning defensive coordinator for the New England Patriots.

If Crennel keeps his job, he plans to have a training-camp competition between Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson for the club's starting quarterback job.
