No Verdict Yet on Schottenheimer

San Diego Chargers Coach Marty Schottenheimer met today with team owner Alex Spanos and club president Dean Spanos but no decision was made about his future with the franchise.

The Chargers had a league-best record of 14-2 during the regular season but lost an AFC semifinal at home Sunday to the New England Patriots, putting Schottenheimer's job in jeopardy. His career playoff record dropped to 5-13.
