Harper Not Expected to Practice Before Friday at Earliest

MIAMI--Cornerback Nick Harper said Wednesday he planned to be in the Indianapolis Colts' lineup for the Super Bowl on Sunday even after suffering a sprained ankle in the AFC title game.

But he perhaps is being overly optimistic. Harper didn't participate in the Colts' practice later Wednesday and, according to Coach Tony Dungy, won't practice today. The best-case scenario, Dungy said, is that Harper might practice Friday. But the Colts no longer seem to be counting on having him available Sunday.
