Raiders Reach Deals With Two Key Defenders

The Oakland Raiders reached contract agreements with linebacker Robert Thomas and defensive tackle Terdell Sands to keep them from being unrestricted free agents next month.

According to several reports, Thomas's deal is worth $6 million over three years and includes a $1.5 million signing bonus and Sands's contract is for $17 million over four seasons, including a $4 million signing bonus.
