T. Barber Reportedly Accepting NBC Offer

Retiring New York Giants tailback Tiki Barber reportedly has decided to accept a job at NBC.

The network is to announce the move Tuesday, the Associated Press reported.

Barber had been weighing competing offers from NBC and ABC-ESPN. At NBC, he reportedly will have roles on the "Today" show and the network's Sunday night NFL broadcasts.

Barber played in the Pro Bowl this past weekend and indicated he planned to file his formal retirement papers with the league early this week.
