Browns Add R. Smith

The Cleveland Browns agreed to a four-year contract with free agent defensive tackle Robaire Smith, formerly of the Tennessee Titans.

Smith was one of the better players left on the free agent market and gives the Browns a considerable upgrade on their defensive line. The Browns are to find out Friday whether they'll also be adding defensive tackle Shaun Smith, a restricted free agent from the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns signed him to an offer sheet last week and the Bengals have until Friday to retain him by matching the offer.
