Browns, Possibly Lions Joining Dolphins in T. Green Chase
The Cleveland Browns have entered the bidding for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Trent Green.
Both teams have confirmed publicly that trade talks have taken place.
The Chiefs had been dealing mostly with the Miami Dolphins. Green apparently has agreed to a new contract with the Dolphins as a precursor to a trade, but the Chiefs have been asking for a second-round draft pick and the Dolphins have balked at that.
The Detroit Lions reportedly also are interested in Green, who is set to leave Kansas City while the Chiefs go with Damon Huard and youngster Brodie Croyle as their quarterbacks.

Mark, any chance the Skins have offered one of these 2 higher draft order teams(Lions or Browns) to trade down to the Skins 6? hence, spurring these teams to pursue a proven vet like T. Green, and pick up another blu-chip at #6? (C. Johnson, or one of the D lineman porspects) ---they then solve their QB issue and still get another (supposed) impact player...
