Cardinals Fire R. Anderson After Arrest

The Arizona Cardinals fired Richie Anderson as their wide receivers coach.

The former NFL running back was arrested last week for solicitation of prostitution, and Coach Ken Whisenhunt made the decision after speaking to Anderson over the weekend.

Ritchie Anderson (Sherwood High School) will find another NFL job. We all make mistakes.

Sad thing is that if even a marginal player had done this, he likely would not have been fired. Refer to the Tank Johnson situation--he was given special permission to leave the state (unsupervised, no less) for the Super Bowl--are you serious?!?!?!?

Well duh. Coaches should be held to a higher standard. They should be the leaders and have moral authority to punich players on the team when they do soemthing wrong. How can you do that if you're out looking for hookers?

Prostitution should be legalized and regulated just like it is in Nevada and parts of Western Europe.

I don't see this as a big deal. It's called the oldest profession for a reason. Consenting adults right? A one night hookup is alright but paying for it is not?!

Bidwell lives up to his reputation as a sorry, owner. He's gutless.
