F. Thomas Accepts Pay Cut to Stay with Saints
New Orleans Saints opponents picked on cornerback Fred Thomas often during the club's run to the NFC title game, but the team is keeping him around.
Thomas agreed to an $800,000 pay cut, from $3 million to $2.2 million, to keep the Saints from releasing him.
