J. Porter Reportedly Cited for Punching Bengals Tackle at Vegas Gaming Table

Joey Porter, the linebacker recently signed by the Miami Dolphins after being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers, reportedly was cited by the Las Vegas police for misdemeanor battery after a fight Sunday evening at a casino with Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Levi Jones.

Porter punched Jones in the face at a gaming table, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"Apparently these two have a history with each other, a history of trash talking on the field," Lt. Kevin McMahill of the Las Vegas police told the newspaper.

Cool. Cinci plays at Miami this year. Should be an interesting sidebar conversation for the talking-heads.

An off the field incident involving a Cincinnati Bengal? No way Jose - it is all Jerry Porter's fault.

With the arrest of a Jags' player this morning, I think the NFL would do well to start a separate list of daily arrests in the league.
