Jets Extend Cotchery's Contract, Cut Two

The New York Jets signed wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery to a contract extension.

He had one season remaining on his existing contract.

The Jets released tailback Derrick Blaylock and defensive end Bobby Hamilton.
