Offensive Linemen Cashing In
The NFL's free agent market is inflated, and offensive linemen have been the main beneficiaries so far.
Leonard Davis cashed in today with a seven-year, approximately $50 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
That followed the approximately $7 million-a-year signings of guards Eric Steinbach by the Cleveland Browns, Derrick Dockery by the Buffalo Bills and Kris Dielman by the San Diego Chargers.

Why does the media persist in perpetuating the myth of the NFL salery structure. It is highly unlikely that the OL's you cited are going to get $7 mil a year.
Shouldn't the media try to be accurate rather than legally precise?

It's great the Bolts didn't lose Dielman. Keeping the line intact for LT will definitely help.
It's kinda nice that Dielman left 10 mil. on the table at Seattle just to stay with the Bolts. It shows he want sto play the game, not just collect a paycheck.
