Texans Keep Two Running Backs, Cut One
The Houston Texans retained fullback Vonta Leach by matching the New York Giants' four-year, $8 million offer sheet to the restricted free agent.
The deal includes about $1.6 million in guaranteed money.
The Texans also re-signed free agent running back Ron Dayne. They released tailback Domanick Williams (who formerly went by the name Domanick Davis). He is the franchise's all-time rushing leader but missed all of last season because of a knee injury.
