Turner Says He's Undaunted By Expectations For Chargers

PHOENIX, Ariz.--New San Diego Chargers coach Norv Turner has taken over a team that went 14-2 during the regular season but lost in the second round of last season's AFC playoffs. He said today he's undaunted by the fact that he can have a 13-3 regular season next year and still be taking a step backward.

"I'm really not affected by that," Turner said. "Every season is different. The regular season is important. But really, the true measure of success in this league is how you do in the postseason."

Norv: Play more than 16 games and win the last game you play.

Is that asking too much?

No pressure there BoltsFan. Turner is just a glutten for punishment. He either wins the superbowl, or he's branded a failure for not living up to the team he inherited. Scylla or Charybdis.

Norv is already talking about winning fewer games than the Bolts won last year. What a promising start.
