Browns Complete Trade, Take B. Quinn

NEW YORK--The trade got done. The Cleveland Browns sent a second-round pick today (up from the third-rounder they originally offered) and their first-rounder next year to the Dallas Cowboys for the 22nd choice.

The Browns selected Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn and, after taking Wisconsin left tackle Joe Thomas third, emerge with two of the half-dozen or so top prospects in this draft. Quinn lost millions of dollars in his plummet through the first-round order but ends up with his boyhood team. He's from Dublin, Ohio, and has talked about going to Browns games as a kid.
